Forensic EVIDENCE SCREENING
Our highly trained forensic DNA experts have extensive experience in biological screening and routinely perform presumptive tests to indicate the presence of blood and semen, microscopic examination for spermatozoa and/or epithelial cells, and confirmatory tests to identify blood, semen, and saliva. Additionally, staff are trained to collect and preserve any trace evidence, such as fibers and hair, found during the screening process.
Sorenson Forensics photo-documents each piece of evidence, including individual stains of forensic significance on bulk items. This measure provides visual confirmation of the evidence's integrity at the time of processing.
