CRIME SCENE TRAINING CLASS
This two day course teaches police and law enforcement officers how to properly collect and process forensic DNA evidence in the field. This specialized crime scene training course offers a combination of class room lectures, real life examples and hands-on practical exercises. Officers are given an understanding of the latest technological advances in DNA forensics. The impact of forensic DNA technology on solving cold cases, violent crime and even property crimes is explored.
Using ALS (alternative light sources) devices to identify biological stain is one of the most popular exercises offered in this training course. Participants will learn to distinguish biological fluids from common or non-human stains in this hands-on exercise. This course is a must for anyone looking to become more proficient in applying the latest forensics DNA tools in solving cases.
