FORENSIC DNA IDENTIFICATION

Sorenson Genomics, our parent company, has been on the cutting edge of forensic DNA testing for ten years. We have successfully tested hundreds of thousands of individuals for forensic identification using DNA analysis. We were selected to assist the Thai government in determining the DNA identification and relatedness of victims of the December 2004 Tsunami tragedy. We also assisted the government of Chechnya in the DNA identification of the victims of the elementary school bombing in September 2004. In 2010 we helped determine the identity of the 103 victims of the Libyan airline crash.

DNA Identification of Missing Persons

Sorenson Forensics has the capability to identify forensic DNA evidence from missing person cases, unidentified remains, and victims of natural disasters and mass casualty disasters. These types of forensic evidence may include fragmented remains including bone, teeth and tissue. Our forensic DNA experts have the experience handling the unique challenges that these types of evidence present.
