FORENSIC DNA EVIDENCE SCREENING
Our highly trained forensic DNA experts have extensive experience in biological DNA screening and routinely perform presumptive tests to indicate the presence of blood and semen, microscopic examination for spermatozoa and/or epithelial cells, and confirmatory tests to identify blood, semen, and saliva. Additionally, our forensic lab technicians are trained to collect and preserve any trace DNA evidence, such as fibers and hair, found during the DNA screening process.
Sorenson Forensics photo-documents each piece of forensic evidence, including individual stains of forensic significance on bulk items. This measure provides visual confirmation of the evidence's integrity at the time of processing.
